FAQ 2017-01-01T12:15:15-07:00

K9 Hope is not a shelter. We are a sanctuary where pets go to live out the rest of their life in peace. We do not take stray dogs or dogs who are simply unwanted by their owners. We focus on special cases which you can find out more about through our programs.

Our standard adoption fee is $500. This helps to cover the cost of all veterinarian charges for spaying or neutering, full dental services, and vaccinations. We also need to feed the dogs while they stay with us and keep them comfortable in the heat and cold, which means raised pet cots, blankets, and utilities. Without donations and adoption fees, we cannot provide the necessary services to all of the dogs or people in need. Please see the next frequently asked question to see how we are funded.

We are not subsidized by any state or federal agency. We operate solely on donations from wonderful, caring people like yourself.
